The Company has environmental management by promoting and supporting the effective management of the environment in line with the ISO 14000 standard and focus on process management in the value chain to avoid effects on the environment. Every activity of the Company, all employees at all levels must consider the importance of environmental management and significant effects on the environment and assure there is management to use resources wisely for maximum benefits, including determining pollution prevention measures for employees and the community.
Policy for managing the environment of SUTHA
Golden Lime Public Company Limited is one of the country’s largest lime producing companies that aims to produce products with high quality. Meanwhile, it understands the importance of managing its impact on the environment. All kinds of activities must therefore be carried out with regard to environmental management and consider any impact on the environment. In order to achieve this goal, the Company has issued the following guidelines:
- Strictly adhere to official regulations relating to the environment and cooperate with different organizations to preserve the environment.
- Be determined to use resources productively and efficiently to lessen the impact on the environment caused by both present and future operation by means of prevention, supervision and continual improvement.
- Specify and review objectives and aims of the environmental management activities in order to get it systematically improved and corrected.
- Be determined to use resources productively in order to reduce the amount of usage as well as recycle and reuse.
- Follow up, examine and evaluate the operation of environmental management activities in line with the mentioned requirements.
- Promote the use of appropriate working instruments in order to lessen the effect as well as organize activities and publicize the environmental management activities.
- Promote the continual improvement of the environment.
- Publicize all environment management activities to the organization and the general public.
